Taking the Stress Out of Psychological Assessment
Matrix Psychological Consulting, LLC is focused on the utilization/interpretation of psychological testing/assessment for better community-wide outcomes, and this is possible because our practice is dedicated solely to testing and assessment, including psychological evaluations and custody evaluations. We are equipped to conduct assessments across a broad range of issues, and have worked with countless agencies, hospitals, schools, and Courts to serve the community with pride and professionalism. Our goal is to offer the essence of psychological practice, while creating sound contingency plans for long-term benefits. The assessment procedures implemented in our office are designed to produce the most accurate results, while minimizing the impact on litigants, patients, and the Courts alike.

Richard W. Wooten, Ph.D. serves as Executive Director of Matrix Psychological Consulting, LLC, and has an extensive professional experience, which includes psychological testing and assessment for complex legal issues. His ability to interpret psychologically intricate matters provides litigants, patients, and other parties with the ability to implement contingency based recommendations for long-term change. To date, he has conducted approximately 2,500+ evaluations across a broad cross-section of specialty areas, and has served as an expert with several Courts, including the Michigan Supreme Court (SCAO).
Consulting Services
Our consulting services incorporate up-to-date behavioral research/data to support our position, and the findings are always presented in a manner that informs the Court. As consultants, our role is to challenge claims that are often made without merit, and provide tangible data to support those conclusions. Dr. Wooten's experience as a former Staff Psychologist with Michigan's Third Judicial Circuit allows him to comfortably traverse the intricacies of forensic issues, while interacting with the Courts, attorneys, and other professionals. Matrix Psychological Consulting, LLC prides itself on working in a collaborative, progressive manner to achieve answers that are only found through the inclusion of psychological assessment.
